Zero electricity bill, 3 crore new houses – Know what promises PM Modi made in BJP’s election manifesto
Only a few days are left for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. BJP has released its election manifesto for the assembly elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself released the party’s manifesto. Meanwhile, PM Modi listed new targets for the third term government. The party has given priority to One Nation One Election, population control and Uniform Citizenship Code law in its manifesto.
PM Modi had made these promises in the election manifesto
- BJP has promised in its election manifesto that in the coming days, India will be seen as a leader in space, AI, quantum, green hydrogen, semiconductor and EV technologies. 5G will be expanded in India and 6G technology will be developed. Self-sufficiency in the energy sector will be achieved by 2047.
- Railways and airports will be further developed. The waiting list system will be completely abolished. New airports, highways and water cities will continue to be built. Bullet corridor will be brought in North-South and Eastern India. The development journey will continue in 2024 also.
- From 2004 to 2014, India was the 11th largest economy. However, India has dropped from 11th to fifth position in the last 10 years. This pledge has guaranteed to make it the third largest economy in the world.
- PM said that 3 crore more new houses will be built, while Modi government gave guarantee. We will work towards availability of affordable pipeline gas to all households. We will work towards zero electricity bill. Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Bilji Yojana will be started. Free electricity at home and money for extra electricity will also be available. The limit of Mudra Yojana has been increased from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh. Disabled people will be given priority in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Transgenders will be brought under the ambit of Ayushman Bharat scheme.
- Indian Judiciary Code will also apply. There will also be a provision for one nation, one election and a common voter list.
- The government’s campaign against corruption will be implemented more strictly. The mantra of Perform, Reform and Transform will be implemented in every area of governance.
- Promised to make India a global hub and provide employment to the youth. After this, Ramayana festival will be celebrated all over the world. Ayodhya will be further developed.
- Under Modi guarantee, BJP has promised that every deprived section will be given priority. 2025 will be declared Tribal Pride Year and Eklavya School, Pradhan Mantri Janam, value addition in forest products and eco-tourism will be promoted. OBC, AC and ST communities will be given respect in every sphere of life.
- The culture of India will be carried forward across the world through the Thiruvalluvar Culture Centre. Arrangements will be made for the study of classical languages of India in higher educational institutions.
- Gig workers, taxi drivers, auto drivers, domestic workers, migrant workers, truck drivers and porters will all join e-Sharam and avail the benefits of welfare schemes.
- The focus will be on farmers’ income from seed to market. Grain will be converted into super food. Nano urea and natural farming will protect the land. Information about boats for fishermen will be strengthened in time through satellite. Seagrass and Modi farming will be promoted.
- Under the leadership of Lakhpati Didi, the government has empowered lakhs of women of the country. Promised to continue doing so in future also. For this, along with welfare schemes, help will also be provided to women support groups. Apart from this, attention will also be given to deadly problems like cervical cancer and breast cancer. Toilets for women will be constructed in public places.
- New avenues of investment, infrastructure, startups, sports, high value services and tourism will open for the youth.
- BJP has promised in its manifesto that free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh will be available from Ayushman Bharat. This scheme will continue further also. Lakhs have got employment through transparent examinations. National Education Policy will be implemented. Good education will be provided to every citizen.
