Within 24 hours, 6 passengers including mother and daughter died in tragic road accidents in Dehradun-Almora
Six people died tragically in three separate road accidents in Udham Singh Nagar, Dehradun and Almora districts of Uttarakhand. Two trucks collided head-on near Anandpur turn on Haldwani Road. Both the truck drivers were seriously injured in this accident.
As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. Police took both of them to CHC with the help of 108 ambulance. Here the doctors declared the driver of a truck dead. Police has taken the body in its custody and started legal proceedings.
On Saturday afternoon, Kishore, son of Dudharam, resident of Nizampur Ajmer, Gujarat was going to Pantnagar Sidkul with iron loaded on his truck. His truck helper Ramesh was also with him. While 43-year-old Rajkumar Yadav, son of Ramsamujh, resident of Purvi Vahlol Pur Pratapgarh, UP was coming from the front with a container.

Both were brought to CHC through 108 ambulance. Here the doctors declared Rajkumar dead. While Kishore was referred after first aid.
After the incident, there was a jam on Haldwani road. Police made the traffic smooth after a lot of effort. Police has taken the dead body of the deceased into custody and started legal proceedings. While the second road accident happened in Almora. On Friday night, three people including two women died while two others were injured when an Alto car fell into a deep ditch.
It is being told that the Alto car number UK 05 TA 4577 was going from Haldwani to Pithoragarh, last night it met with an accident near Sangar under Lamgara tehsil and fell into a deep ditch. There were five people in it. The Lamgara police and the State Disaster Management Force (SDRF) team reached the spot and everyone was taken out of the ditch.
Of these, mother and daughter died on the spot while three injured were taken to the hospital. It is being told that the injured driver Prem Kumar died on the way to the hospital. The deceased mother and daughter include Rajni resident of Visa Bajetha, Pithoragarh and Sunita Devi Kumoda, Pithoragarh.
On the other hand, a tourist car fell into a ditch on the Dehradun road near Mussoorie in the early hours of Friday. Two people, including the driver, died in the accident. While, four people are injured. According to the police, the tourists were coming to Mussoorie from Noida.
According to Inspector Arvind Chaudhary of Mussoorie Police Station, a car fell into a ditch at Shivalik Maggi Point turn near Rishi Ashram. When the police reached the spot, three people got out of the car and came on the road themselves.
After the accident, three people were trapped in the car. Police called the fire service and SDRF to the spot. The three people trapped in the car were rescued and brought to the road. Two had died during this time.
While four injured were sent to Doon Hospital by ambulance after first aid. Police is investigating the cause of this accident. The car occupants were coming to Mussoorie from Noida. During this time the accident happened on the way.
List of dead and injured According to the police, 32-year-old driver Anil Kumar son of Baleram resident of Sector-134 Noida Gautam Buddha Nagar and 31-year-old Ajay son of Chhatrapal resident of Chola Chowki Bulandshahar UP died in this accident.
Whereas, Gulu (29 years) son of Baleram resident of Sector-134, Noida, Raju (30 years) son of Ravindra resident of Nagli Bajitpur Sector-135 Noida, Monu (28 years) son of Charan Singh resident of Dhakoli BV Nagar Bulandshahr and Subhash (27 years) son of Sanjay resident of Sector-134 Nagli Thana Express Noida are injured.
