Thiruvallur The electoral history of Thiruvallur Lok Sabha constituency was created after delimitation in 2008. It was formed by merging the assembly constituencies of Kummidipoondi, Ponneri (SC), Tiruvallur and Poontamalli (SC). Thiruvallur Lok Sabha constituency has around 22 lakh voters. The Congress party had to face defeat from here in the 2009 and 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Veteran leader P.
