'Whether it is village or city, electricity should not be disconnected', Chief Minister Yogi takes action on convection
North India is scorching hot and heat wave (loo) is a major problem due to scorching heat. Mercury is breaking all records and due to this, seeing the situation, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued guidelines to the people. In view of the scorching heat, the chief minister advised that there should be concrete arrangements for rescue at all levels, be it village or town. The Chief Minister said that there should be no unnecessary power cuts in the state and problems like transformer, tripping and malfunctioning should be resolved immediately. Guidelines issued by Chief Minister Yogi: Chief Minister Yogi has decided to launch an awareness campaign among people to deal with the increasingly severe heat. Due to this, Chief Minister Yogi said that public should be made aware about the symptoms of heat wave (HW) in the state and how to prevent it. Also, due to extreme heat, most of the people are suffering from water scarcity and drought, to prevent this, Chief Minister Yogi has advised to make arrangements for drinking water at various places on the roads. Special attention was also directed to the cleanliness of all places of worship in Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura. The Chief Minister has ordered that the weather forecast should be published daily from the office of the Relief Commissioner. Work on heat-wave action plan in zoos. The Chief Minister also said that proper arrangements should be made for fodder and water for the cattle in the cow sheds. If sick, everyone should seek medical attention immediately. Chief Minister Yogi presented 10 key points regarding heat wave. A daily bulletin of weather forecast should be issued from the relief commissioner's office level. There should be no unnecessary power cut anywhere in village or city. Arrangements should be made to purchase additional electricity if required. Eliminate problems like transformer burning/wire falling, tripping etc. Drinking water should be kept in public places in all municipal and rural areas. In areas where water is scarce, it should be supplied by tankers. Cleanliness requires special attention. Ayodhya, Kashi, Mathura should be given special attention in all places of worship. Amidst the scorching heat, it is necessary to pay attention to the safety of livestock and wild animals. Strong arrangements should be made to keep livestock keepers safe in case of heat stress. Proper provision should be made for the fodder and water required by the cattle in the cow sheds. The public should be made aware of the symptoms of heatstroke and its prevention. Provide immediate medical attention to everyone in case of illness. Heatstroke victims should be treated immediately at hospitals/medical colleges. Provision should be made for water and shade in public places. Public should be made aware of keeping water and grain in small containers for birds.
