When will new NCERT books be available? The Ministry of Education has given an answer to this

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan held a review meeting with officials regarding the effective implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP). NCERT is preparing new textbooks for classes 1 to 12. Education Minister also informed about this. It has been informed that new textbooks will be provided for classes 3 and 6 in the academic year 2024-25. Preparations for this are almost complete. 9 textbooks for classes 3 and 6 are already available. The remaining 8 will be available soon. The review meeting has been held due to the delay in the availability of the 6th standard textbooks to be taught from April. These books are yet to hit the market. NCERT had announced that new textbooks for classes 3 and 6 will be introduced from 2024-25. NCERT is preparing new textbooks for classes 1-12 to fully implement NEP 2020 and NCF-SE rules.
