Weapons seized during raids by security forces in Manipur

Arms and explosives were stashed in the border areas of Manipur's Imphal East district. According to reports, a joint team of Indian Army and Manipur Police launched a search operation on Sunday. The operation resulted in the recovery of one heavy caliber (70mm) launcher, two 9mm pistols, one 12-barrelled single-barreled gun, one improvised grenade launcher, six hand grenades, two tube missiles, ammunition and ammunition. During this, 11 hand grenades, 6 IET guns, five 303 guns, 3 detonators, 1 carbine, 1 pistol, explosives and ammunition, four walkie-talkies and two radio sets were also recovered.
