According to the police, two of the four people who have been taken into custody had a fight with Jeetan Sahni. According to the information, a person had mortgaged his bike with Jeetan Sahni. He had gone to Jeetan Sahni's house to get this bike back. The two people who have had a fight with Jeetan Sahni had threatened to teach Mukesh Sahni's father a lesson. The body of Mukesh Sahni's father Jeetan Sahni was found in his house in Afjala Panchayat of Supaul Bazaar in Darbhanga on Tuesday. His body was mutilated with a sharp weapon.

Jeetan Sahni used to live in the village house. According to the information, 2-3 servants and a driver also used to live with Mukesh Sahni's father. Jeetan Sahni used to go out every morning to pluck flowers for puja. When he did not come out on Tuesday morning, the neighbor called out and when there was no response, he entered the house and found that Jeetan Sahni had been murdered. Mukesh Sahni was in Mumbai at the time of Jeetan Sahni's murder. Mukesh Sahni's sister Rinku is married in Mumbai. His another brother Santosh Sahni also did not live with his father. Mukesh Sahni's mother died about 8 years ago.
