Volcano erupts again in Indonesia, fear of tsunami: thousands of people evacuated

Jakarta: Mount Ruang in Indonesia erupted repeatedly on Tuesday. Therefore the fear of tsunami spread. The authorities had evacuated thousands of people to safe places. Fierce lava also came out from the volcano.

The country’s volcanologist has also warned that the volcano has been active since the beginning of this month and has not calmed down yet. This Ruang volcano has erupted more than six times in a month.

This volcano located on North Sulawesi island of Indonesia erupted for the first time at 1:15 pm on Monday-Tuesday night. The volcanology agency said it erupted twice on Tuesday morning, prompting authorities to evacuate more than 6,000 people living at its foot.

Five km before the eruption of this volcano. After flowing ash (about 3.1) miles high, burning lava began to flow as the fire continued to burn.

In this regard, National Disaster Agency spokesperson Abdul Muhati said in a press conference on Tuesday that in fact 11 to 12 thousand people were later evacuated to safe places. Even now, the local disaster mitigation agency, police and army are evacuating the island’s residents to safety.

In the pictures, Lavras is also seen flying high for some time. A cloud of ash can be seen flying overhead and plumes from the volcano can be seen falling on local houses. The eruption can also be seen from Tanubandang on nearby Seagro Island. This explosion and the lava coming out of it falling into the sea caused a tsunami. Saying this, Abdul Muhati told reporters that a rescue ship and a warship have also been sent to take people from nearby islands to safety. Because there is a great fear of tsunami.
