UP: The election results will determine the status of the outgoing leaders, how much influence will they be able to show in their respective strongholds?
In the Lok Sabha elections, all eyes are on Uttar Pradesh. While the results of the upcoming June 4th election will determine the power of the country, it will also determine the political status of the outgoing leaders. Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, several senior leaders of other parties in the state switched political sides, with some leaders joining the BJP, while rebel MLAs from the SP were seen campaigning in favor of the BJP. In such a scenario, it remains to be seen how politically helpful the Samajwadi Party defectors and rebels are to the BJP in their respective strongholds. During the Rajya Sabha elections in UP, seven SP MLAs including Rakesh Pandey, Rakesh Pratap Singh, Abhay Singh, Manoj Pandey, Vinod Chaturvedi, Pooja Paul and Ashutosh Maurya cross-voted in favor of the BJP. Apart from this, Samajwadi MLA Maharaj Devi did not participate in the voting. These SP MLAs not only supported the BJP in the Rajya Sabha elections but also campaigned in support of the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections and shared the platform with the big leaders of the party. The BJP got the support of the rebel leaders, while the BJP fielded RPN Singh from the Congress to the Rajya Sabha, while Jidin Prasad contested the Lok Sabha elections. The BJP brought back former MLC Yashwant and also rallied support to strongman Dhananjay Singh. Apart from this, the result was no less a test for RLD leader Jayant Chaudhary and Subhas party leader Om Prakash Rajbar, who broke alliance with SP and joined hands with BJP amid the Lok Sabha election political frenzy. In such a situation, how wonderfully these leaders who have come with the BJP are behaving? Samajwadi Party's rebel MLA Manoj Pandey SP's rebel MLA Manoj Pandey has won the Unjahar assembly seat of Raebareli three times in a row. In this way, his political base rests on the Brahmin voters of Raebareli and Amethi constituencies. In the Lok Sabha elections, Manoj Pandey openly campaigned for the BJP in both constituencies. Participated in the election campaign and spoke with Amit Shah. The results of the two constituencies will make it clear how successful the BJP's strategy of strengthening the Rae Bareli and Amethi constituencies has been. Rebel MLAs from the Samajwadi Party, who supported Smriti Irani in Amethi's Gauriganj constituency, Rakesh Pratap Singh is SP MLA for the third time. Rakesh Pratap Singh is considered a strong hold among the Thakur voters of Gauriganj region. Rakesh Pratap Singh actively campaigned in support of BJP candidate Smriti Irani in Amethi. Also participated in rally and road show with Amit Shah. Amethi's SP MLA Maharaji Devi also sought votes for BJP candidate Smriti Irani The results show how helpful Samajwadi Party MLAs Maharaji Devi and Rakesh Pratap Singh were in Amethi constituency. How much has the BJP benefited from SP rebel MLAs like Rakesh Pandey from Ambedkar Nagar's Jalalabad constituency and Abhay Singh MLA from Ayodhya's Kosaiganj constituency? BJP has fielded Rakesh Pandey's son Ritesh Pandey as its candidate for Ambedkar Nagar Lok Sabha seat. Abhay Singh has been given Y Section protection. While Rakesh is considered influential in the Brahmin community, Abhay Singh is considered influential among the Thakurs. There are two Samajwadi Party MLAs under Ambedkar Nagar Lok Sabha constituency. According to the caste equation, the constituency is not considered suitable for the BJP, due to which the party has fielded two rebel MLAs from the Samajwadi Party. The results of the Lok Sabha elections will show how much political gain the BJP has gained due to the alliance of the two MLAs. How suitable are SP MLAs for BJP Vinod Chaturvedi, SP MLA from Kalpi Assembly Constituency, Pooja Paul Kausambi MLA, Ashutosh Maurya Bishauli Constituency MLA. All the three leaders have political base in their respective Lok Sabha constituencies. In both Kausambi and Prayagraj, Pooja Pal's political influence is among the Pal community. All three rebel SP MLAs were seen openly campaigning for BJP candidates in their respective constituencies. In such a situation, it remains to be seen how politically favorable the three leaders are to the BJP. Will turncoat RPN Singh become a trump card? Former Kushinagar MP RPN Singh, who left the Congress and joined the BJP, was inducted into the party and became a Rajya Sabha MP. He is considered to have a strong hold among the Chaindwar community not only in Kushinagar but in all the districts of Poorvanchal. His reputation is at stake in the Kushinagar constituency. It remains to be seen how the SP has fielded a man from the Chaindwar community in Kushinagar constituency and how that has turned out to be a trump card for the BJP in Kushinagar. How much will Yashwant Singh's return benefit? He was removed from the party in 2022 for 6 years. The results of the election will show how much the BJP has benefited from their arrival. Former minister Raj Kishore Singh and his brother Brij Kishore Singh, a key leader of Poorvanchal who were close to Mulayam Singh, have been inducted into the BJP for electoral gains. Among the Thakur leaders, Rajkishore Singh is considered to have a strong hold on the Basti Lok Sabha seat. In such a scenario, it remains to be seen how suitable he proves to be in the Basti seat. How useful Dhananjay Singh has been to the BJP The MP from Jaunpur, Dhananjay Singh, may not have been inducted into the party, but he succeeded in garnering its support. Dhananjay's wife Sreekala Reddy withdrew from contesting in the Jaunpur constituency. With Dhananjay Singh, BJP tried to solve the political equation of Jaunpur and Machli City constituencies, but the results will reveal how effective he was in the elections. Jidin Prasad, who left the Congress and joined the BJP, first took office as a minister in the Yogi government and has been fielded in the Lok Sabha elections from Philibith constituency. Jidin Prasad's political influence extended from Shahjahanpur to the Daurahara constituency. In such a situation, it remains to be seen how much he helps in mobilizing the Brahmin community voters in favor of the BJP. How successful was the RLD-SubhaSP-BJP alliance that contested the 2022 assembly elections in UP with SP? RLD's political base is among the Jat community of western UP, while SubaSP's PD is among the Rajbar community of Poorvanchal. When the BJP formed an alliance with Jayant Chaudhary, Yogi gave one minister and one MLC post from the RLD quota in the cabinet. Similarly, when Omprakash Rajbar was inducted into the Yogi cabinet, his party has been given one MLC and one Lok Sabha seat to contest the election. The results of the Lok Sabha elections will determine the political status of both the parties. If this alliance works in favor of BJP, its political status will increase, if not, will it decrease?
