UP News: Employees hired during Covid lay siege to Deputy Chief Minister's residence, demanding rectification in NHM.
LUCKNOW: Staff recruited during the Covid era in UP (UP News) on Monday surrounded Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Prajesh Pathak's house. Employees say that their jobs are at risk. Their services may be terminated at any time. About 2000 Covid employees from various districts of UP have appealed to the Deputy Chief Minister to relieve the employees from the fear of losing their jobs every month. As in Haryana-Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh government also said that adjustments have been made for Covid employees. Similarly, in Uttar Pradesh, Covid-19 staff should be adjusted in NHM (National Health Mission). The service of employees should be provided continuously. Instead of giving profits to outsourcing companies, employees should be guaranteed decent wages and social security. Fear of losing work every month: Staff leader Vikas Sharma asked if the staff would continue to go to Lucknow every month. Why didn't the government come together and issue proper renovation orders? The Deputy Chief Minister should immediately issue appropriate orders to the officer concerned. Employees are angry about monthly layoffs. Deputy Chief Minister Prajesh Pathak said that the government stands with the employees, the employee leaders said. No one will lose their job.
