'U.P. Nazul Property Bill is 'unnecessary', Anupriya Patel has insisted on the demand for reservation in Class IV jobs.
UP Nazul Property Bill 2024: Union Minister and National President of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Apna Dal (S) Anupriya Patel has reiterated her demand to follow reservation in Class IV jobs in the private sector. Reservation should be followed in all Class IV jobs through outsourcing to the private sector, he said on Sunday. Speaking to the media, Patel said, 'Reservation is not being followed in the appointments given through outsourcing to fourth class posts in the private sector. Lower castes got fourth class jobs. While recruiting for these posts through outsourcing, reservation law is not followed. Nazul Property Bill is unnecessary' – Union Minister Anupriya Patel said, 'Our party wants reservation to be followed in all Class IV jobs through outsourcing in the private sector'. On the Uttar Pradesh Nazul Properties (Management and Use for Public Purposes) Bill, 2024 introduced by the state government, Patel said it was 'unnecessary'. The committee will consider this and give its recommendation. Our party feels that this is unnecessary and against the sentiments of the people. Anyone who commits crimes against women should be punished. He said strict action should be taken against those involved in such wrongdoings. He also stressed the demand for caste-based enumeration and said that while the by-elections will be held for 10 constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, the National Democratic Alliance will contest in all the seats. And all coalition parties will support its candidates. Meanwhile, he reiterated the party's demand for a Jatiwari census and said that it has started in Bihar. The Union Minister said, 'We cannot come forward to ensure benefits to those who want to get benefits by counting the castes'.
