Three workers were exposed to gas while cleaning sewage; One dead, two unconscious

Gurdaspur: While cleaning sewerage in village Chava of district Gurdaspur, three migrant laborers became unconscious after gas entered their brains. The people of the village somehow pulled him out of the sewerage and admitted him to Civil Hospital Gurdaspur, but one migrant laborer died during treatment, while the condition of the other is said to be critical.

While giving information in Civil Hospital, Neeru, resident of district Bharatpur (Rajasthan) said that he does cleaning work in the village. She told that on Wednesday her husband Kanhaiya was cleaning the sewer in the village. During this time he became unconscious due to brain gas. After this, when her nephew Navi and brother Monu also entered the sewer to save her husband Kanhaiya, both of them became unconscious. On hearing their shouting, the people of the village gathered and somehow took all three out and took them to the civil hospital. Her husband Kanhaiya died during treatment, while the condition of her nephew Navy is critical.
