Nijjar Murder Case: Three Indian nationals accused of murdering separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar were produced before a Canadian court for the first time on Tuesday. The judge ordered him not to have contact with people in the community.
According to a report in 'Vancouver Sun', Karan Brar (22), Kamalpreet Singh (22) and Karanpreet Singh (28) appeared physically in the British Columbia Provincial Court in Surrey, while Amandeep Singh (22) appeared through video conference. Appeared in court proceedings. A British Columbia judge ordered all four to avoid contact with community members during their court appearance.
The accused were wearing jail uniform during their appearance in the court. The fourth accused, Amandeep, is in custody in Ontario in another arms-related case.

“It's completely understandable given the background why the community is so concerned about this case,” Karan Brar's lawyer Richard Fowler told the Vancouver Sun. It may be noted that separatist Nijjar (45) was murdered outside the Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara in Surrey, British Columbia on June 18, 2023.
