Odisha Police arrested a deadly criminal on Monday. He brutally assaulted his wife and brother-in-law. Then he ran away from there. After that, wearing a suit-salwar, with a bindi on his forehead and veiled like a woman, he boarded the bus. So no one can recognize him. The bus went to its destination. There were many more passengers sitting in it. Then a female passenger noticed this person. He could see the man's beard through the dupatta. Seeing this, the female passenger screamed. The one who was sitting disguised as a woman was also scared. He started trying to get down from the bus. But other passengers caught him. He asked where are you going like this. As he did not respond properly, the passengers handed him over to the police. It was then revealed that he had planned to attack his wife and brother-in-law and run away. Police said that three cases of murder have already been registered against this accused. But then the witnesses turned hostile and he was acquitted by the court. The incident took place in Kenrapara police station area. 42-year-old Vikram Das lives in Madhusoonpur village. Here he brutally assaulted his wife and brother-in-law. Then she took off her blue dress, pink salwar, forehead bindi and veil and boarded a bus. The female passenger who was sitting with him then had a beard visible from behind her scarf. The girl started screaming. Vikram also pushed him and started running. But other passengers caught him. Unable to answer their questions as to why he had come dressed as a woman, the passengers handed him over to the police. The accused confessed to the police about his involvement in the 3 murders. He is currently being interrogated. It is not yet known why he attacked his wife and brother-in-law. Police said Das was arrested in November 2018 in connection with the murder of three members of the same family. But after all 29 witnesses turned hostile, the court acquitted him two months ago due to insufficient evidence.
