The woman said, 'My wife has 8 husbands' – Judge Sir, there are not eight but four… The court was surprised to hear the arguments of both.
A surprising incident has come to light in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Here a husband sued his wife. The husband accused the woman in the court, the woman has eight husbands. Describing the allegation as false, the woman stunned the court and everyone present. The woman said she had not eight but four husbands. The High Court hearing the case of a husband and wife from Bangalore was also surprised. The husband accused his wife of marrying eight men. Against this the husband approached the High Court. Meanwhile, the woman filed a domestic violence case against her mother-in-law. During the hearing, five of the woman's husbands were present in the High Court, however, due to lack of time, all of them could not be questioned. All the three husbands submitted an affidavit and now all the three husbands have submitted an affidavit in the court and the lawyer has requested the court to proceed against the woman. On the other hand, the wife's lawyer objected to the husband's contention, saying it was a false allegation, but the lawyer said the woman had four husbands, not eight. The lawyer said that the woman was married to four men. The documents submitted by the husband's lawyer show that the marriage took place after the death of the first husband. The woman told the High Court that she got married only after getting divorced. She also told the court that she plans to file a defamation case against her husband, who has accused her of eight marriages. In response, the husband's lawyer said that he has the documents of eight people. Last time, five husbands appeared for the hearing in person. But the investigation could not be conducted. Three more husbands have submitted certificates. A high court bench headed by Justice M. Nagaprasanna adjourned the hearing to September 27 and directed the husband's counsel to submit documents and make arguments.
