The team of DRI Kannur arrested an air hostess on the basis of intelligence information and searched her personally. About one kg of gold (960 grams) was found in her possession. But that gold was not hidden in her luggage but in her private part (rectum). And the shape in which the gold was made and kept in the private part has become a reason for amusement and surprise among the security officials at the airport. The air hostess has been identified as Surabhi Khatun, a resident of Kolkata, from whom about 960 grams of gold was seized. The gold has been taken into custody by the Revenue Intelligence Department. The accused Khatun was produced before a magistrate after interrogation and completion of necessary formalities and has been remanded for 14 days. She has been sent to Kannur women's prison for 14 days.
