Thalapathy Vijay to shoot for a film in Kerala after 14 years, fans can’t calm

Ahead of its release, the actor is visiting Kerala to shoot for its climax. He is returning to the state after a long span of 14 years. On Monday, hundreds of his fans gathered at the airport to give him a grand welcome.

Fuelled by speculation that it could mark his final project before venturing into politics, his ardent fans have left no stones unturned. In several videos that surfaced online, Vijay’s fans are seen gathering and cheering in anticipation of his arrival. The police has also implemented significant safety measures to have the crowd in control. Not just that, the hashtags ‘Vijay Storm Hits Kerala’ and ‘Goat’ are also currently trending on X.

Meanwhile, the actor enjoys a huge fan following in Kerala. His previous film, ‘Leo’, written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, enjoyed tremendous success at the Kerala box office, grossing over Rs 60 crore in theatrical earnings.

‘GOAT’ will also see Thalapathy Vijay and Prabhudheva dance together for a peppy number, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Trisha will be seen in a cameo role.

Produced by AGS Entertainment, ‘GOAT’ is produced on a massive budget by AGS Entertainment by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh and Kalpathi S Suresh. The film has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni and editing by Venkat Raajen.

‘GOAT’ is in the last leg of production and was shot in Chennai, Thailand, Hyderabad and Pondicherry. The film is expected to release in theatres later this year. An official announcement will follow soon.
