Tata made this sedan tax free, know about its CNG model

 New Delhi. The sales of Tata Motors’ Tigor sedan are decent. This sedan can be purchased in petrol and CNG as well as electric models. The demand for its electric model has increased rapidly in metros. This car can also be purchased from Canteen Stores Department i.e. CSD. Many cars are sold at this canteen for the soldiers serving the country. The special thing is that these soldiers have to pay very less GST on this car at CSD. That is, they have to pay only 14% tax instead of 28%. However, only its petrol and CNG models will be available here.
The price of Tiago’s XM trim at the showroom is Rs 6,79,900. Whereas the price of this car on CSD starts from Rs 5,72,664. In this way, tax of Rs 1,07,236 is saved on its base variant. Depending on the variant, about Rs 1,24,878 of tax can be saved on this car. So let’s quickly know the prices of all the variants available in CSD here.

 
Tata Tigor Features and Specifications
Tata Tigor will get a 1.2-liter petrol engine, which generates a maximum power of 86PS and a peak torque of 113Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual and optional 5-speed AMT. It also gets a CNG kit option with a 5-speed MT, which produces 73PS of power and 95Nm of peak torque. Its petrol variant has a mileage of 19.28 kmpl and CNG mileage is up to 28.06 km/kg.
Talking about its interior, it will have features like 7-inch touchscreen system, push-button start/stop, rain-sensing wipers and auto-headlights. For safety, it has dual airbags, ABS with EBD and reversing camera. It can also be purchased in dual-tone exterior. In the Indian market, it competes with models like Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze and Hyundai Aura.
