Taste homemade almond kulfi, definitely add these things
Almond Kulfi Recipe
Material:
- 1 cup ground almonds
- 1 cup condensed milk
- a pinch of saffron threads
- 6-8 pistachios, chopped
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup fresh cream
- Handful of blanched almonds (optional)
Instruction:
- Prepare almond mixture:
- Mix ground almonds, condensed milk and fresh cream in a mixing bowl. Beat until well mixed.
- Mix saffron in milk:
- Boil milk in a saucepan.
- After boiling, add a pinch of saffron threads to the milk and let it cool to room temperature.
- Mix almond mixture with saffron milk:
- Add saffron mixed milk into the almond mixture. Stir until well combined.
- Add nuts:
- Heat the mixture in a saucepan over low heat.
- Add chopped pistachios and almonds (if using) to the mixture and mix.
- Pour into kulfi molds:
- Pour the mixture into kulfi molds or small cups.
- freeze:
- Place the kulfi molds or cups in the freezer and let them freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- to serve:
- Once the kulfi is set, take it out from the molds by placing it under hot water for a few seconds.
- Garnish with additional chopped pistachios and almonds before serving.
