Stuart Broad REACTS on Rumours of Virat Kohli Being Dropped From India’s T20 World Cup Squad

Now, there are multiple reports suggesting that there is no guarantee he gets picked for India’s T20 World Cup squad or not. The reports suggest that he would have to have a very good IPL to make the cut. But, how much of that is true cannot be confirmed.

Amid all these speculations, former English pacer Stuart Broad has reacted to these rumours surrounding Kohli. Claiming that Kohli will be the biggest draw in the USA during the marquee event, Broad reckoned the star Indian batter would ‘surely’ get selected.

“This can’t be true. Just from a fan’s point of view of growing the game, the ICC putting games on in America, India vs Pakistan in New York, Virat is the biggest draw of any player in the world. I am sure he will be selected,” Broad reacted to a tweet on Sportskeeda.

“As far as we know, he will play IPL. But when is Virat joining squad is up to him and his franchise. We haven’t heard from him as he is on a break. For sure, IPL will play a massive role in selection of all players,” a senior BCCI official told InsideSport.

The former India captain is expected to join the RCB camp next week for the RCB Unbox Event on March 19 in Bengaluru.
