Because of this Rinku did not get a place

Rinku Singh did not get a place in the 15-member Indian team selected for the T20 World Cup 2024. Chief selector Ajit Agarkar said it was one of the toughest decisions taken by the committee. Ganguly said, “The World Cup is to be played in West Indies. The wicket may be slow there and the wicket may help the spinners. In such a situation, the selectors wanted to go with the spinner. Maybe that’s why Rinku didn’t get a chance, but for Rinku this is just the beginning.”
