According to India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), 24 carat 10 grams gold has become cheaper by Rs 40 to Rs 71,670. Talking about silver, there has been a slight increase in its price. Today one kilogram of silver has become costlier by Rs 69 and is being sold at Rs 80,119 per kilogram. Earlier on May 1, silver was at Rs 80,050 per kg.

Delhi: The price of 10 grams 22 carat gold is Rs 66,400 and the price of 10 grams 24 carat gold is Rs 72,420.

Mumbai: The price of 10 grams 22 carat gold is Rs 66,250 and the price of 10 grams 24 carat gold is Rs 72,270.

Kolkata: The price of 10 grams 22 carat gold is Rs 66,250 and the price of 10 grams 24 carat gold is Rs 72,270.

Chennai: The price of 10 grams 22 carat gold is Rs 67,150 and the price of 10 grams 24 carat gold is Rs 73,250.

Bhopal: The price of 10 grams 22 carat gold is Rs 66,300 and the price of 10 grams 24 carat gold is Rs 72,320.

According to IBJA, so far this year the price of gold has increased by Rs 8,318. On January 1, gold was at Rs 63,352, which is now at Rs 71,670 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of one kilogram of silver has increased from Rs 73,395 to Rs 80,119.

By 2030, the price of gold may be Rs 1.68 lakh per 10 grams.

According to Mahendra Lunia, Chairman of Vighnaharta Gold, by 2030 the price of gold can reach Rs 1.68 lakh per 10 grams. The reasons for the increase in gold prices range from geopolitical tension to global economic recession.
