Jamshedpur: A one-day Kolhan-wide Ho Samaj conference was organized by Veer Shaheed Bodo Ho Manch at Kasmahal Bhawan. In this, Central and District Executives of Manki-Munda, Dyuri, Ho Samaj Mahasabha of entire Kolhan region participated. The Kolhan-wide Ho Samaj Sammelan was formally inaugurated by garlanding the portrait of Tyagi Photo Ho under the supervision of Peet Mangi Sampoorna Sanvaiya. Following this, newly elected National President of Adivasi Ho Samaj Yuva Mahasabha, Ipil Samad, Vice President Sura Biruli, General Secretary Kappar Singh Hembram and Treasurer Surendra Kalin were felicitated on behalf of the association. At the Ho Samaj conference, the Ho Samaj people gave a message of unity that whatever decision is taken in Mangi Munda Swaraj, the community will follow that decision. During this, the people of the community took an oath to carry the photo of Veera Tyagi to every village and make the public aware of his deeds. A statue of the brave martyr Photo Ho will soon be installed in the square marked by his name. At the end of the program Sivakumar Hansda gave vote of thanks. Determined to work together for the prosperity of the community, the people of the tribal Ho society participated in large numbers in a one-day conference at the Kolhan level and discussed various issues. The main objective of the conference is to strengthen the community socially, culturally, economically and educationally. Importance of traditional art, music and dance to preserve cultural heritage was emphasized. Actions to promote self-employment and entrepreneurship, all working together for the development and prosperity of the society were also discussed. The conference proved to be an important step for the tribal community. In this, all sections of the society participated actively and decided to move towards joint development. Speakers at the conference discussed the current status of the community and proposed various programs and initiatives to strengthen it further. Emphasizing the importance of education, he called for joint efforts to provide quality education to children.
