According to the information received, on August 10, Shahrukh Khan will receive a prestigious award at an open-air venue called Piazza Grande. The ceremony also includes the screening of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much-acclaimed film “Devdas” directed by him. Not only this, the next day Shahrukh will also participate in a forum discussion at @Spazio Cinema.
Ziona A. Nazzaro, who heads the artistic direction at the Locarno Film Festival, shared his thoughts in a public address. He said, “It is a dream come true to welcome a living legend like Shah Rukh Khan to Locarno! The richness and breadth of his contribution to Indian cinema is unprecedented. Khan is a king who never lost touch with his audience.”
