Shahbaz government is preparing to stop the interference of army and ISI! Advisor said- it is necessary to create a mechanism

Islamabad. It is said about Pakistan that army and power are two sides of the same coin. This is the reason why power is seen in the army and army is seen in power. However, now the Shahbaz government has started preparing to stop the interference of army and ISI.
Rana Sanaullah, the Prime Minister’s political and public affairs adviser here, has called for creating a mechanism so that institutions do not interfere in each other’s jurisdiction.
In fact, his statement came after the judges wrote a letter in which alleged interference by intelligence agencies in judicial work was mentioned.
Government advisor’s advice on judges’ letter
“Writing a letter by the judges is enough to develop a mechanism so that the institutions do not interfere in each other’s sphere,” Sanaullah said in a show of a media channel.
According to the report, Rana made the remarks in reference to a letter by Islamabad High Court judges that surfaced in March, alleging interference by intelligence agencies in judicial matters.
The judges wrote the letter on March 26
Islamabad High Court (IHC) judges Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani, Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri, Justice Babar Sattar, Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan, Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir and Justice Saman Fafat Imtiaz had sent a letter to the Supreme Judicial Council on March 26, urging it to convene a judicial conference over the alleged interference of intelligence agencies in judicial matters.
Qazi Faiz Isa- Shahbaz Sharif had a meeting
Responding to the letter, Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa had said during a meeting with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif at the Supreme Court on March 28 that interference by the executive in the affairs and judicial functioning of judges would not be tolerated. In the meeting, the Chief Justice and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had agreed to form an inquiry commission.
The federal cabinet on March 30 approved the formation of a commission of inquiry into allegations of impeachment of Islamabad High Court judges and appointed former Chief Justice of Pakistan (retired) Tassaduq Hussain Jilani as its head. However, Jilani recused himself from the commission and as a result the apex court took suo motu cognizance of the issue.
Targeted Imran Khan
Meanwhile, Rana Sanaullah said that talks with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were in confusion since 2014. He said that PMLN kept waiting for talks during the PTI government.
He said PTI founder Imran Khan’s stance of not talking to MPs is the main reason behind the current situation.
There is no point in talking to the army
Referring to PTI’s stance of holding talks with the establishment, Sanaullah said the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations had said that the MPs should talk among themselves as there was no point in talking to the army, a media report said.
He further said that the PTI founder is harming himself, his party and Pakistan by adopting this strategy. He said, ‘The current situation is not good for anyone. The deadlock must end. There is no arrogance or reluctance from our side. It is from the other side.’
