Saddened by the death of Hamas leader Ismail Haniya, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has lodged this complaint with the Indian government.

Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Ameer (Chairman) Syed Sadatullah Hussaini has condoled the martyrdom of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and termed it as another act of extreme terrorism by Israel. Ameer Jamaat reminds that Israel has killed thousands of civilians and subjected the civilians of Gaza to brutal bombings and massacres. He said that first Ismail Haniya's family members were martyred together and now the former Prime Minister of Palestine is being targeted during a purely diplomatic trip to a third country. This shameful degradation is only possible because of Netanyahu's reign of terror. With this cowardly act of brutality, Israel has once again made it clear that it has no interest in peace-building efforts and is a grave threat to regional and world peace, the statement said. In his statement condemning Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Syed Sadatullah Hussaini expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine and felt that all Muslims and people of all religions share their suffering, but at the same time the history of the Palestinians. People sacrifice and sacrifice. He said that this is a history that has inspired all religions around the world. With the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyyah a new great chapter has been added to this history. He said that martyrdom does not weaken movements, but gives them new strength and vitality. We believe that martyr Ismail Haniya's martyrdom will further strengthen the Palestinian freedom movement and become a means for the liberation and restoration of the rights of the oppressed Palestinian people. On this occasion, he strongly requested the Government of India to raise a strong voice against this blatant barbarism and gross violation of international laws and to take effective diplomatic measures to stop the ongoing genocidal attempts in Gaza. In its statement, the Jamaat prayed for martyr Ismail Haniyya and all martyrs, their heirs and for patience for the Palestinian people and justice for the oppressors.
