Sacrilege of Gutka Sahib in Sanjarpur village of Ghanaur, accused arrested

Patiala: One such case has come to light from Sanjarpur village of Ghanaur assembly constituency, where a person from the village tore pieces of Gutka Sahib, Birdh Gutka Sahib and religious books of Hindu religion outside the houses. Scattered in the village and Gurudwara Sahib and drains. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police party including SHO Jagjit Singh of Ghanaur police station reached the spot and arrested the accused.

Giving information about the incident, Sikh Sangat said that today at around 2:30 am in Sanjarpur village, 42 year old Narinder Singh of the same village tore parts of Gutka Sahib and Birdh Gutka Sahib and killed Sarpanch Jodhan Singh of the village. , Tejinder Singh, Ajay Singh and threw them in the drains near Gurudwara Sahib. He told that at around 3.30 in the afternoon, when the servants were going to Gurdwara Sahib, they saw that Gutka Sahib’s body parts were torn and thrown on the road. He was respectfully brought to the Gurdwara Sahib and when the Sikh Sangat gathered at 7 in the morning, they saw Narinder Singh, a man from the village, sitting on the fire in the cremation ground. The villagers caught him on the spot and this information was given to Ghanour police station. He said that Narinder Singh was handed over to the police of Ghanour police station on the spot.

When DSP Ghanur Buta Singh was talked to on phone regarding this incident, he said that an incident of insult has come to light in Sanjarpur today, which was immediately brought to the attention of SSP Patiala Varun Sharma and other higher officials. The police took immediate action and registered a case under FIR number 27 and section 295A of the IPC, arrested the accused and presented him in the court, where the court sent the accused to jail.
