This bike was introduced for the Indian and European markets during an event held in Barcelona, Spain. The bike includes features like 4-inch TFT display, smartphone connectivity, Google Maps integration and media control. Royal Enfield Guerilla 450 has been made available in three variants and five color options.The starting ex-showroom price of the Guerilla 450 in India is Rs 2.39 lakh, which goes up to Rs 2.54 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top variant. This roadster bike will be available for sale in showrooms in India from August 1. After this, its sale will start in Europe from mid-August. In India, it will compete with the Triumph 400, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Honda CB300R.Engine Capacity | Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450The new Guerilla 450 is powered by a 452cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder Sherpa engine that produces 40hp of power at 8,000rpm and 40Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. Royal Enfield has retuned the engine to offer better low-end torque.The company claims that more than 85% of the torque is available starting from 3000rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slip clutch. The bike gets two ride modes, Performance and Eco.Bike designTalking about the design, according to Royal Enfield, the Guerilla 450 is a versatile motorcycle designed for slow movement in traffic, maintaining balance on turns and high speed on the highway. Its front design is inspired by the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, while the tail section is similar to the Himalayan 450.The Guerilla 450 is designed on a steel tubular frame, like the Himalayan 450. It has an LED retro round headlight, LED tail light with integrated indicators and a single seat. It has a fuel tank of 11 liters.Comfort Riding Experience | Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450For a comfortable ride, it has 43mm telescopic front forks (with 140mm travel) and rear monoshock suspension (with 150mm travel). For braking, it has 310mm front ventilated disc brake and 270mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS. This bike runs on alloy wheels, with a 120/70-17 section tire in the front wheel and a 160/60-17 section tire in the rear wheel.Talking about the features, the top-end variant gets a 4-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, Google Maps integration and media controls. The lower-spec Guerilla 450 gets a semi-digital instrument console that can be used with the Tripper navigation pod. This roadster also features a USB-C charging port and riding modes.Source Internet
