Rahul reached America to 'further strengthen' relations between India and America

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi arrived in the US on Sunday on a three-day visit. During this, Rahul will hold “meaningful and in-depth discussions” to further strengthen relations between India and the US.
In a Facebook post, Rahul Gandhi, leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, said: “I am really pleased to receive a warm welcome from Indian expatriates and members of the Indian Overseas Congress in Dallas, Texas, USA.”

Sharing some pictures of his arrival in the US, Rahul said, “I am looking forward to engaging in meaningful discussions and in-depth interactions during this visit that will further strengthen the ties between the two countries.”
Meanwhile, the Congress party said in a post on 'X' that Rahul was given a “warm and enthusiastic” welcome at the Dallas Fort Worth International airport.
Indian Overseas Congress president Sam Pitroda had said last week that Rahul is not coming to the US on an official visit but during this time he will get an opportunity to interact 'personally' with various people at Capitol Hill (US Parliament House).
“Rahul will be interacting with journalists at the National Press Club, he will be meeting people from think tanks and will be addressing people at the Georgetown University, which is also a key player in Washington,” Pitroda had said.
Rahul will be on a visit to America from 8 to 10 September. This is his first visit to America after assuming the post of Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha. During this, he will interact with people at Georgetown University and Texas University as well as hold several important meetings in Washington and Dallas.
