In this meeting, the contribution of party president Mallikarjuna Kharge, former president Sonia Gandhi, general secretaries Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha elections was appreciated. A resolution in this regard was also passed in the meeting. Parliamentary Party President Sonia Gandhi, General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Former President Rahul Gandhi, Organization General Secretary K.C. Venugopal and members of the executive committee and senior leaders attended the extended executive committee meeting. The executive committee also passed a resolution that Rahul Gandhi should take over as the Leader of the Opposition.
