He is the leader of CMN-UML party. He became Prime Minister with the support of the Nepali Congress, the largest party in the Nepali Parliament. After a coup in Nepal, Oli became the Prime Minister of that country. He has replaced Pushb Kamal Dahal in 'Prasanda'. On Friday, 'Pranjath' lost the trust vote in the House of Representatives. After this, the process of forming the new government began as per Article 76(2) of the Constitution. After Oli submitted the signatures of 165 members to the President, the President gave him the nod to form the government. Out of these 165 members, 77 members belong to Oli's Party (CPN-UML) and 88 members belong to Nepali Congress. When did Oli take over as the Prime Minister of Nepal in 2015? On 12 October, he became the Prime Minister of Nepal for the first time. He held this position till August 4, 2016 (297 days). After this, on 15 February 2018, he again became the Prime Minister of Nepal and held this position till 13 May 2021. After that he again took office as the Prime Minister of Nepal for 60 days. At the same time, on July 15, 2024, he became the Prime Minister of Nepal for the fourth time.
