According to media reports, potatoes are being sold at Rs 37-40 per kg in the retail market, while the price of potatoes has gone up in the retail market, and the West Bengal Refrigeration Corporation has asked to supply potatoes at Rs 26 per kg. . West Bengal Cold Warehousing Association officials said: Currently, potatoes are being sold at the rate of Rs 37-40 per kg in the retail market depending on the quantity. An official of WBCSA's Hooghly unit said that WBCSA would pay Rs 26 per kg of potato. A proposal has been sent to Sufal Bangla for supply of 35mm sieve for potatoes. This is old cold storage price. Currently, the cold storage price is Rs.28-29 per kg. Most of the potatoes in Kolkata come from Hooghly district.
