Politics News: Big blow to Mayawati, former BSP MP Haji Fazlur Rahman joins SP

Politics News. BSP chief Mayawati has suffered a major setback in Uttar Pradesh. Former BSP MP Haji Fazlur Rahman joined the SP today. A large number of BSP workers also joined the SP along with him. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav got everyone enrolled as Samajwadi Party members.
During this, welcoming Fazlur Rahman, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said, “In the 2019 elections, I had appealed to vote for the alliance candidate Haji Fazlur Rahman, who was elected by the people. After this, there was constant contact in the Lok Sabha. SP will be strengthened by his joining. He told those joining the SP that if we come to power in UP, we will build an expressway from Saharanpur to Lucknow. Saharanpur is the last district from where we have come, if there was a Samajwadi government, it would not have taken so much time to reach Lucknow.”

Fazlur Rehman said this after joining SP
On joining SP, Fazlur Rahman said, “I met Akhilesh Yadav in the last Lok Sabha. I was impressed by his simplicity and straightforwardness. Whoever meets Akhilesh once becomes his. I am joining SP after being impressed by the policies of SP.”
