Permission denied to discuss NEET malpractice, opposition MPs protest in Parliament

Live Hindi News :- Opposition MPs staged a walkout in the Lok Sabha protesting the Speaker's decision not to allow a discussion on NEET malpractice and sanctions on central agencies. Following this, MPs led by opposition leader Rahul Gandhi staged a sit-in protest in the Parliament premises, After a two-day holiday, the session of the 18th Lok Sabha was convened today (1 July). Then the Indian team that won the World Cup was praised in the House. After this, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi raised the issue of NEET malpractice in the Lok Sabha.

Speaking then, he said, “A message is being given to the country from the Parliament. We want to give this message to the students that the issue of NEET is important for the Parliament. Therefore, this issue should be discussed,” he said.
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh further said, “Parliament has certain rules. Accordingly, discussion will be held after the motion of thanks to the President's speech,” he said. Opposition parties refusing to accept this continued sloganeering. They protested that the Speaker was not allowed to continue the debate and walked out of the House. Opposition MPs led by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi staged a protest outside the Parliament premises.

Later in the second session of the Lok Sabha, BJP MP Anurag Thakur presented a motion of thanks on the President's address. This motion was supported by BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj. After the President's speech, the members are discussing the motion of thanks.
