Patna: The police stopped the Congress party members who went for a rally in the capital Patna and started protesting.
Patna: A strong demonstration was held on behalf of the Congress in Patna, the capital of the Bihar state, against the statement made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the winter session of the Parliament on the country's first Law Minister Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. The party has termed the protest as the Insult Procession. The demonstration was led by Congress state president Akhilesh Singh. We are demanding the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah. He insulted Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. Congress party insists that he should resign. He should immediately apologize to the people of the country. We will conduct protests, demonstrations and satyagraha in a peaceful manner. Congress party has always done this.
