PATNA: Now you can comment on police behavior and work through QR code, which started with Kotwali Police Station.
Bihar Police News: Public reaching police station can now comment on police conduct and work through QR code. It was launched from Kotwali police station on Friday, where Central SP Chandraprakash, Rural SP Roshan Kumar, West SP Abhinav Thiman, East SP Bharat Soni, Sadar ASP Sweety Sehrawat held a press conference and gave a demo of using the QR code. According to information, it is currently developed for Android mobile users. Later feature phones and other technologies will also be used. This QR code is jointly developed by four SPs and ASP Sadar and is directly monitored from the SSP office. Central SP says this QR code will bring transparency in police work. This QR code will be pasted at every place of police station like OD officer, gate, ladies desk, charista and patrol vehicles. Based on the feedback, questions and answers will be asked to the police officers in the monthly review meeting. If the feedback of any police station is poor in the first month, strict guidelines are given and asked to improve behavior and work. If there is a second bad feedback from the same police station and the victim continues to complain about the behavior and work of the police, an investigation will be conducted and action will be taken. Preparation for Online Compensation: The next phase will be to start online compensation to the victims. If a victim registers an FIR at the police station and does not receive a receipt, he will be issued a receipt online. 10 companies in Jharkhand Rs. 13 thousand crores will be invested.
