‘Pakistan is giving shelter to Islamic State terrorists’, Afghan Foreign Minister gets angry without taking name

Pakistan Afghanistan relations: The friendship between Afghanistan and Pakistan is turning into bitter enmity.

Afghanistan’s Taliban rulers, who have refused to recognize the border with Pakistan, have continued attacks on Pakistan. Foreign Minister of Taliban government, Aamir Khan Muttaki has said that the Pakistan government is giving shelter to the terrorists of Islamic State. Afghanistan’s three neighboring countries have provided an enabling environment for the Islamic State to re-establish itself. One country provides access to terrorists, another country helps them in their propaganda by training and funding them, while a third country helps terrorists carry out attacks.’

Foreign Minister Muttaki did not take the name of any country but his reference was clearly towards Pakistan. He said, ‘Some countries initially support fundamentalist organizations but later withdraw their support.’

Afghanistan is angry with Islamic State. Because after Taliban came to power, most of the terrorist attacks in Afghanistan have been carried out by Islamic State. He considers the Taliban as his number one enemy.

On the other hand, Taliban’s relations with Pakistan have also deteriorated. Pakistan alleges that, ‘Pakistan Tehreek-e-Taliban terrorists, taking shelter in Afghanistan, are entering Pakistan and carrying out terrorist attacks and targeting the army.’

To show its power, Pakistan also carried out air strikes in Afghanistan last month and since then Taliban leaders are taking up arms against Pakistan. To answer Pakistan, Taliban has also started improving relations with India.
