On the occasion of 'Naag Panchami', actress Karishma Tanna has shared a post, urging people not to offer milk to snakes, as 'snake charmers keep them hungry and force them to drink it'. On Instagram Stories, Karishma shared a post, which has a picture of a snake and a bowl of milk. It has the tagline: “Don't advise not to offer milk… Contrary to popular belief, snakes don't drink milk. They are kept hungry and force them to drink it by snake charmers.” “Naag Panchami” is the day of traditional worship of naags or snakes. It is celebrated on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Shravan month, as per the Hindu calendar.
