Odisha CM Introduces ‘Nabin Magic Card’ For UG, PG Students; Check Benefits, Where To Register

To honor the 108th birth anniversary of the CM’s father, Biju Patnaik, the initiative was inaugurated, marking the commencement of enrollment on an online platform.

Revealing the web portal, Patnaik praised the youth as the nation’s wealth and expressed his government’s commitment to helping them realise their potential. He emphasised that the ‘Nabin Odisha Magic Card’ initiative aims to support students in personality development, reduce the financial burdens on parents, and foster opportunities for career advancement and employment, as per the report of news agency PTI.

What Are The Benifits?

Students will be able to use their smartcards for discounts for the thier purchase of the books, access WiFi, recharge their phones, receive online tutoring, and receive discounted bus, rail, and airplane fares.

Where To Register For ‘NABIN MAGIC CARD’?

Odisha’s undergraduate and postgraduate students can register for the card via www.magiccard.odisha.gov.in starting on March 5.

According to the statement from the CMO, through active involvement in community service and participation in extracurricular activities, students get points that unlock increasingly rewarding benefits. The ‘Nabin Odisha Magic Card’ offers four different levels including regular, silver, gold, and platinum each offering enhanced benefits corresponding to the student’s achievements.
