Odisha Assembly Elections 2024: Third Phase of Odisha Assembly Elections Polling Ends, 42 Constituencies With So Much Voting

Along with the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections, polling took place in all 42 assembly constituencies in Odisha. As per the Election Commission's updated data till 7.45 pm, 60.07 per cent polling was recorded in these seats. Odisha has 147 assembly seats. Along with the Lok Sabha elections, the Assembly elections are also held here. After this poll, 3 phases of assembly elections were held. Now the fourth phase of polling will be held on June 1. Polling was also held in Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Puri Lok Sabha constituencies of Odisha in the third phase of assembly elections. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik voted in Bhubaneswar. After voting, he said, we will establish a stable government in the state. Patnaik is contesting from Hinchali constituency in Ganjam district. He has been winning from this constituency five consecutive times. In the first phase, 75.68 percent polling was held on May 13 in 24 constituencies in Odisha. 75.68 percent votes were recorded in these constituencies. Subsequently, polling was held for 35 assembly constituencies on May 20 in the second phase. 73.51 percent votes were recorded in the second phase election. Voting was held in 42 constituencies in the third phase. The final statistics of the third phase of polling will be out in a couple of days. In Bhubaneswar, a woman voted in favor of oxygen, and in Puri, a 97-year-old man staged a sit-in protest because his name was not present at the polling booth. Electoral Roll. The man alleged that he had voted in the last election and was being deprived of his democratic rights. Patnaik has been in power in Odisha for almost 20 years, Naveen Patnaik-led BJD has been in power in the state for almost 20 years. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJD won 117 out of 147 constituencies in the state. BJP won 10 seats and Congress 16 seats in the election. It remains to be seen how many seats BJD, BJP and Congress will get in this election and whose government will be formed. Along with the Lok Sabha elections, the counting of votes for the Assembly elections will take place on June 4.
