Recently, after resigning from the post of JTU spokesperson, KC Tyagi said this in a conversation with 'PTI'. He said his stand was always in line with the party's ideology. He has full confidence in Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's leadership. According to political commentators, his resignation as party spokesperson was a result of his outspoken statements on several issues that embarrassed the government. However, K.C. is aware of the fact that many of his party colleagues are uncomfortable with his statements on issues such as the Israel-Hamas war and flanking incursions. Tyagi refused. He said that for him, JTU means party leader and Nitish Kumar. Tyagi, who has been active in socialist politics for more than five decades, said, 'I am in JTU only for Nitish Kumar. He is my friend and leader. Their concern is the only thing that matters to me. He said that he will never leave JTU and it is not in his nature to leave Nitishkumar. Tyagi asserted that no leader can match the charisma of Nitish Kumar. “There is no one like Nitish Kumar,” he said. He praised Nitish Kumar for his honesty, lack of casteism and for bringing good governance in the state. He said, 'I have worked with Mulayam Singh Yadav, Lalu Prasad and many other socialists. There is no one like Nitish. Tyagi said that he has been asking Nitish Kumar for long to relieve him from the post of spokesperson, to make lateral entry and stand still on Palestine. The party leader asked him to continue as political adviser. He said his opposition to 'lateral entry' was consistent with socialist politics and that support for Palestine reflected India's historical position.
