'Nitish Babu and Chandrababu Naidu', Prime Minister Modi had this to say about his two key allies after the election victory.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led coalition NDA won majority in Lok Sabha Elections-2024. According to the Election Commission, the BJP has so far won 144 seats and is leading in 96 seats. The BJP is set to form the government for the third consecutive term at the centre. After this victory of the party, there is a celebratory mood at the BJP headquarters in Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also came to the party headquarters and addressed the workers. Then, Prime Minister Modi explained about Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Telugu Desam Party President Chandrababu Naidu. Prime Minister Modi said that the National Democratic Alliance under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra Pradesh and Nitish Babu in Bihar has done well. Both these parties performed well in this election. TDP is likely to win 16 seats in Andhra Pradesh and JD(U) 15 seats in Bihar. As neither party got a majority, the demands of both the parties increased. The Indian alliance is also trying to bring both of them to its side. What did Telugu Desam say? At the same time, the Telugu Desam Party has said that it will stand with the National Democratic Alliance led by the Saffron Party. Also, Telugu Desam rejected speculations of India joining the alliance. Telugu Desam Party senior leader K. Ravindra Kumar says the pre-poll alliance with BJP and Janasena in Andhra Pradesh is not just an election. It is based on faith. He said that we will continue to be part of the National Democratic Alliance. There is no talk of supporting the Indian alliance. The Congress has already said that Andhra Pradesh would be given special status if the All India alliance comes to power, a key demand of the Telugu Desam Party. Before the 2019 elections, BJP and TDP gave up on each other.
