Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, while dedicating Nishan-e-Inquilab Plaza to the public, said that the great martyr Bhagat Singh should not be remembered only on his martyrdom day (23 March) or birthday (28 September), but every moment. Must be remembered. Built at a cost of Rs 5 crore, this statue will continue to inspire enthusiasm among the young generations on Chandigarh Airport Road. The Chief Minister said that due to the tireless efforts of the state government, Mohali airport has been named after Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
Bhagwant Mann expressed hope that this plaza will prove to be a guide for the people coming from India and abroad to tell about the contribution of this great martyr. He said that none of the previous governments tried to name this airport after the great martyr. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that naming airports, universities and other institutions after the great martyrs is a need to preserve their glorious legacy.

Chief Minister Mann said that the state government is leaving no stone unturned to realize the dreams of the great martyrs. It is the duty of the state government to ensure the progress of Punjab and the prosperity of the people in accordance with the dreams of the great patriots.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to fulfill every dream of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. He said that the young hero of the freedom struggle had sacrificed his life at a young age to free the country from the clutches of foreign imperialism.
The Chief Minister said, “At the age when youth demand gifts from their parents, Shaheed Bhagat Singh had demanded the freedom of his motherland from the British. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Shaheed Bhagat Singh was an educated leader, who was always concerned about the welfare of the people.
