NEET PG exam will be held on August 11
The new date of NEET PG 2024 exam has been announced. The exam will be conducted on August 11 at various centers across the country. The exam will be held in two shifts. The exam will be conducted in CBT mode by the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).
NEET PG 2024 exam was to be held on 23rd June, but the exam has been postponed a day before the exam. Now the new date of the exam has been announced. Candidates can check the official website natboard.edu.in You can check the notification issued by the board by visiting.
Every year, around two lakh MBBS graduates appear for NEET PG for around 52,000 medical PG seats across the country. According to the board, the exam was cancelled because the ministry wanted to check the robustness of the examination process and also ensure that there are no weaknesses in the process.
The NEET PG 2024 exam was earlier scheduled to be held on March 3, but it was postponed to July 7. Due to the general elections, the NEET PG exam date was pushed to June 23, which was again postponed on June 22.
Counseling will be done in online mode
The NMC has also introduced the Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023, which mandates that all rounds of NEET PG counselling for each seat will be conducted by the state or central counselling authorities. The counselling process will be in online mode.

NBEMS has issued a notice alerting candidates about fake information. The board said that for any information, candidates should visit the official website of NBEMS and consider only the notices and information issued there as correct. The board also said that it does not have any official account on any social media platform. Therefore, do not trust any notice issued on social media.
