NCP releases list of star campaigners for Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections, see list
Srinagar: Preparations for the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections seem to be gaining momentum. On Thursday, NC and Congress party have announced an alliance. Meanwhile, the Nationalist Congress Party has released the list of its star campaigners. The list released includes the names of 26 campaigners. It also includes Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and National President Ajit Pawar, Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare.
The party's campaigners will work to connect voters. They will go from village to village and campaign for the party. This time, there are plans to campaign through digital means as well to bring more enthusiasm among the young voters. Apart from this, the party will also honour people for increasing harmony between religious and social groups.
Organizing meetings
The party informed that during this time meetings will be organized. In which policies will be discussed according to the people. Also, there will be a special focus on the minorities there. Apart from giving them protection, many other problems related to them will also be discussed. Elections are to be held in three phases in Jammu Kashmir. The first phase will be held on 18 September, the second on 25 September and the third phase on 1 October. The results will be declared on 4 October.
Right now Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is on a tour of Jammu and Kashmir. During this he held a special meeting with NC. After which the alliance was announced. National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah said that we will fight together and our priority will be statehood.

The list released by the NCP includes the names of Ajit Pawar, Praful Patel, Sunil Tatkare, Kohil, Brijmohan Shrivastava, Sheel Jalaluddin, Chhagan Bhujbal, Ruhi Anjuman, Parth Pawar, Uma Shankar Yadav, Naveen Kumar, Dheeraj Sharma, Chaitanya Mankar (Sunny), Faiz Ahmad Faiz, Ya Murantaz Alam Rizvi, Tariq Rasodi, K. Latiyal, Arun Raina, Fayaz Ahmad Dar, Haris Tahir Bhat, Feroz Ahmad Rangraj, Tavsheel Bhat, Sanjay Kaut, Leshad Ahmad Ghani, Aishia Begum, Salima Akhtar.
