Muslim women who came out to get Rs 1 lakh each from Rahul Gandhi quickly formed a line, Congressmen closed the doors

Lucknow. In the Lok Sabha elections, Congress had announced in its manifesto that it would give Rs 1 lakh to women by issuing guarantee cards. Congress may not have been able to garner the majority to form the government yet, but now the movement has started regarding this. After the results came out on Wednesday morning, a large number of women reached outside the state Congress headquarters with guarantee cards.

The women said that in its election manifesto, Congress had promised to give them one lakh rupees by issuing guarantee cards, and they had come to collect them. The women alleged that they were not being allowed to enter the Congress headquarters. People present at the gate said that their cards were not available right now.
On the other hand, state Congress vice-president Dinesh Singh said that Congress had issued a guarantee card before the elections, in which it was said that one lakh rupees would be given after the formation of the government. Before the elections, a large number of these cards were distributed to the people. When women came this morning, the office staff distributed the cards to some women, but a further decision will be taken on this.
Overall, ever since the results have come out after the announcement of Congress, people are discussing about the guarantee card. Now Congress is also facing a problem as the government is not being formed, so how to explain to the public about the announcement of the guarantee card before the elections.
