Lucknow. In the Lok Sabha elections, Congress had announced in its manifesto that it would give Rs 1 lakh to women by issuing guarantee cards. Congress may not have been able to garner the majority to form the government yet, but now the movement has started regarding this. The women said that in its election manifesto, Congress had promised to give them one lakh rupees by issuing guarantee cards, and they had come to collect them. On the other hand, state Congress vice-president Dinesh Singh said that Congress had issued a guarantee card before the elections, in which it was said that one lakh rupees would be given after the formation of the government.
