MSDE unveils extensive initiatives and partnerships to boost skill ecosystem

These endeavours encompass partnerships through Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between MSDE and various entities such as the North Eastern Handicraft and Handloom Development Corporation (NEHHDC), North Eastern Regional Agricultural Marketing Corporation (NERAMAC), I-Hub Centre at IIT-Mandi, North East Centre for Technology Application and Reach (NECTAR), Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS) and The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council.

Additionally, the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (Niesbud), an MSDE organisation, has inked a MoU with the Department of Food and Public Distribution. Furthermore, collaborations between Niesbud and the Ministry of Labour Employment, as well as initiatives in export promotion for handicrafts, are underway.

“This confluence of efforts represents the culmination of extensive work by NSDC under the leadership of Dharmendra Pradhan, cabinet minister, education and skill development and entrepreneurship, who consistently encourages collaboration with industry and training institutions to elevate the current scaling efforts,” Atul Kumar Tiwar, secretary, MSDE, said.

Moreover, there are plans to launch four new-age courses in Artificial Intelligence (AI), 5G Technician, Cybersecurity and Data Annotation through the Directorate General of Training (DGT), alongside an MoU exchange between DGT and Future Right Skills Network. Another upcoming launch is the NIMI Mock Test application 2.0, designed to aid ITI students in exam preparation.

NSDC boasts partnerships with esteemed institutions such as IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, Sri Sri University, Coding Pro Technologies, Shobhit University Meerut, Sanskriti University Mathura, Silver Oak University Ahmedabad, and Galgotias University Greater Noida.
