Major decision of Patna University after Harsh Raj murder case, order to vacate all hostels
After the murder of PN College student Harsh in Patna University Law College, the university administration has taken a big decision. The university on Wednesday issued a notice to all the students staying in the men's hostels under the university to vacate the hostels. For this the university has given time till 4 pm on May 31 to all UG and Masters hostel students to vacate the hostel with all their belongings. The time to vacate the hostel is till May 31. If the hostel is not vacated by May 31, the university said that the hostel will be vacated with the help of the management. After the murder of PN College student Harsh, the university administration has decided to take strict action and vacate all the hostels till further orders. The university has given exemption only to students studying in women's hostels. Warrant issued against five accused: Meanwhile, in the student Harsh murder case, the SIT has verified the names and addresses of the five accused and has also taken an arrest warrant from the court. If the accused do not surrender, the police will confiscate the properties of the five in four or five days of further hearings in the court. In this regard, the police have intensified the search in the hostel. On Wednesday, a search operation was conducted to identify the accused in hostels like Minto, Patel, Jackson, Hatua etc. of Patna University. The hostel gate was locked and every room was searched. Also, ID cards of all students were verified. However, no suspects were arrested during this period. No weapon or anything else was recovered. Apart from this, the police are conducting raids in various districts of the state.
