Main conspirator of Bangladesh MP murder arrested, Bengal CID arrests him from Nepal
Mohammad Syam Hussain, the main conspirator of Bangladesh MP Anwarul Azim Anar's brutal murder, has been arrested by Bengal CID from Nepal. Now the police are bringing the accused to Kolkata. Giving this information on Friday, the West Bengal CID said that arrangements are being made to bring one of the prime suspects in the murder of a Bangladeshi MP from Nepal to Kolkata. Muhammad Syam Hussain, who fled to Nepal for allegedly killing Anwarul Azim Anar in Kolkata's New Town area, was nabbed from the neighboring country's border last Thursday. A West Bengal CID official said the decision was taken to hand over the accused to Indian authorities as the slain Bangladeshi MP was last seen in the city. A CID official said the body of the dead Bangladeshi MP has not been found. After the murder of a Bangladeshi MP in Newtown, the alleged mastermind, Muhammad Syam, fled to Nepal with a Bangladeshi-born American citizen. He then fled to Dubai before returning to the US. Meanwhile, the body of the deceased Bangladeshi MP is still missing. A CID official said that the body parts of the deceased Bangladeshi MP are still being searched. The dismembered body of the missing MP reportedly reached Kolkata for treatment on May 12. Gopal Biswas, a resident of Paranagar, Kolkata and an acquaintance of the Bangladeshi politician, lodged a complaint with the local police on May 18. Later, police received a tip-off about the killing of a Bangladeshi MP in a residential complex in New Town. After the Bangladeshi MP was strangled, his body was allegedly dismembered. Then the pieces of the body were thrown in different parts. Police are searching for the MP's body, but are yet to find it.
