At the initiative of the Maharashtra government, he was brought back to India for three years. This information was given by Maharashtra Culture Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar. He said the “Wag Nak” used by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to kill the Mughal general Afzal Khan will be brought to India for three years from the Victoria and Albert Museum in London on Friday, July 19. This walk nail will be displayed for the first time in Satara. It is reported that Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will preside over this grand function. Ahead of the walk nag display, Satara's Defense Minister Desai on Tuesday inspected the security arrangements at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Museum in the district. He had said that the introduction of Walk Knock in Maharashtra was an inspiring moment. It will be given a huge reception in Satara. BJP Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar said that 'Walk Nak' will be exhibited in Mumbai, Satara, Kolhapur and Nagpur. In a statement, he said, “Artifacts and weapons from the era of Wag Nag and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj will be first housed in the Satara Museum. There will also be a special exhibition and a special postage stamp. The Maharashtra government has constituted two committees for this 'Walk Nak' show. One for Mumbai and one for Satara, Kolhapur and Nagpur districts will be showcased. In addition, the local District Collector, Commissioner/Superintendent of Police, Public Works Department and Museum Officer are included in the team to ensure the safety of this 'walk knock'. The committee will plan its display, the Mumbai committee will be headed by Dr. Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Director General, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Museum.
